The hospital system collapsed.
Crozer-Chester closed May 2, 2025. Taylor Hospital closed April 26, 2025. Delaware County officials expected the closures to affect more than 3,200 workers. Crozer had covered EMS response for roughly 60 percent of the county.
20,179 children killed in Gaza.
The UN Commission of Inquiry reported at least 20,179 children killed in Gaza through October 2025, per its June 2026 report.
1,700 people signed a Medicare for All petition.
An ongoing signature drive asks Rep. Scanlon to co-sponsor H.R. 3069, the Medicare for All Act. Her office has not acknowledged the campaign.

In April 2024 Rep. Scanlon voted yes on H.R. 8034, a $26.4 billion Israel package including roughly $17 billion in military and security assistance.
The ICC issued arrest warrants.
On November 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court issued warrants for Israel's prime minister and former defense minister. Rep. Scanlon has issued no public statement.
She voted to restore ACA subsidies.
In January 2026 Rep. Scanlon voted yes on H.R. 1834, extending the Affordable Care Act's enhanced premium tax credits through 2028 after they had expired. The subsidies hold down marketplace premiums for PA-05 households.
